DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy for News Lab Hindi

News Lab Hindi respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the DMCA and promptly investigate and respond to any notices of alleged copyright infringement.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed on our website, please follow the procedure outlined below to submit a DMCA takedown notice.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice: To submit a DMCA takedown notice, please provide the following information to our designated copyright agent:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed;
  • Identification of the material that you believe is infringing on your copyrighted work, including a description of the material and its location on our website;
  • Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the copyright or authorized to act on behalf of the owner; and
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly remove the infringing material or disable access to it. We will also notify the alleged infringer of the takedown and provide them with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification.

Counter-Notification: If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include the following information:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location on our website;
  2. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  3. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in which your address is located;
  4. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the DMCA takedown notice;
  5. A statement that the information in the counter-notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  6. Your electronic or physical signature.
